DOB Initiative Gets Back to Building

Taking aim at disapproved applications, the DOB has announced a new program called Get Back to Building. The program runs throughout the month of May, and provides an ‘open house’ format for applicants or their representatives to meet directly with DOB examiners. By bringing  different representatives from various City agencies, the program will foster collaboration, and ideally help to  develop solutions that get projects back on track.

Interested applicants may schedule a Get Back to Building appointment by sending in an email request to GetBacktobuilding@buildings.nyc.gov

Appointments will be help on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays throughout the month. One piece of fine print – the applicant of record must be present at the appointment.
