DOT Regulations for Trailer Placement

In relations to policies and procedures please note DOT regulations regarding trailer placement:

Lower Manhattan (below Canal Street): 

• No trailers allowed at all.

All other boroughs: 

• Trailers allowed for Major Alterations & New Buildings. Approval is on a case by case basis and at the reviewer’s discretion.

PPN Search Engine is Live

The DOB publishes official Policy and Procedure notices with consistency, and over the years these notices add up. Now, with a new search engine, finding old PPNs is getting easier.

The DOB has made its database of PPNs available through its new search page. Simply enter a keyword, and you can search through PPNs going back to 1987.

The search is easy and intuitive, and there’s data for LPPN, APPN, OPPN and TPPN notices.
