The Environmental Control Board (ECB) has proposed a Rule to amend its Department of Transportation (DOT) Penalty Schedule. This rule lowers the penalty for failure to obtain a confirmation number for a street opening permit on a protected street. It also adds a separate penalty for failure to obtain a confirmation number two hours prior to the commencement of a backfill on a protected street.
