Katherine Baerga
Senior Project Manager Katherine Baerga has been a part of the Metropolis team since 2019 and has over 20 years of experience in the industry. She consults with architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and building owners regarding filing strategies to ensure project feasibility. Additionally, she generates approval and objection response reports; reviews plans for DOB administrative items, minor code compliance and prepares filing applications for New Building, Alt I, Alt II, and Alt III projects; meets with plan examiners and other city officials to obtain approvals on various types of filings; and obtains work permits and after hour variances. In 2021 she earned the title of Municipal Information Associate due to her ability to convey agency policy changes or Building Bulletins in simple terms and her proactiveness to be “ahead of the curve” on future announcements.
