Lend A Helping Paw

By Brittney Rosari

At Metropolis Group we support in great causes, and recently found one. Matthew Redlein, son of our own  Associate, Brian Redlein, has taken the initiative to spearhead a fundraiser in efforts to sponsor a VetDog puppy.

At the young age of 13, Mathew has been legally blind in one eye since birth. His older brother, Brandon is 24, and has been legally blind in both eyes since birth. Showing initiative, Mathew not only wanted to raise funds to sponsor a VetDog puppy for the Nesaquake Middle School, but also for his brother who is currently on a waiting list for a guide dog.

Matthew hopes this endeavor brings awareness to Familial Exudative Vitreoretinopathy also known as Fevr Disease, while allowing people to realize the importance of these such amazing and intelligent animals. To date Matthew has raised $6,600 and hopes to raise a total of $12,000 to be able to sponsor a second Vet Dog for his middle school.

On behalf of the Redlein family, we want to thank everyone who has joined us in contributing to this amazing cause.  Special thanks go out to to their extended family at Metropolis Group and Iron Bridge Consulting and a big thank you to Michael Stern, Founder/Managing Partner of JDS Development for their significant and heartfelt contribution.
