DOB Project Guide Bringing Answers Online

In efforts to be more transparent and efficient, the DOB has introduced the NYC Buildings Project Guidelines.

The guide intends to provide a general overview of construction industry project requirements for different audiences. There are sections for Owners, Design Professionals, Skilled Trades and Registrants. The Guide details such topics as the general requirements for preparing a project, permitting a project and project close out.

The DOB is providing information for Plumbing and Sprinkler categories with links to help assist in finding information, process details and general answers.  There’s a slate of new categories on the way, including Alterations, Renovations, Demolition, Construction Equipment and New Buildings.
